Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a habitat to 360 bird species inclusive of 23 out 24 Albertine Rift endemics, Bwindi is also a home to the Shelley’s Crimsoning and African Green Broadbill which are globally threatened. On arrival, our birding guide will pick you up from the airport for the transfer to the hotel and brief you about the 8 Days Africa’s Best Birding Spot Bird Watching Safari. Depending on your arrival time, we bird Entebbe Botanical Gardens or Uganda Wildlife Education Center UWEC.

Early in the morning breakfast, we embark on the bird watching transfer to lake Mburo national park Via Mabamba Swamps for the elusive Shoebill stock and some papyrus endemics like the African and Lesser Jacanas, Blue-breasted bee-Eater, Carruther`s Cisticola, the White-faced and Fulvous Whistling Ducks, The Black-chested, many Gull and Heron Species Brown and western Banded Snake Eagles, and other waterbird species hen after continuing to Lake Mburo National Park for our night stay. We have a short stopover at the Equator for an informative talk, en-route lunch, photography, and the equator line experience.

We go for the morning Game drive as we bird our way out of Lake Mburo to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.
